The Appenzeller Huus is located 900 metres above sea level in Gonten, which is steeped in history, and offers its residents and guests the best of living and enjoying. This retreat moves between tradition and modernity and offers a wide range of leisure, wellness, gastronomy and cultural activities.

The Appenzeller Huus is made up of two existing houses and five newly built houses with hotel rooms, condominiums, holiday flats and serviced flats. Beneath the traditional dress of the Appenzeller Huus, however, lies a highly modern core. It consists of the two hotels Huus Löwen and Huus Bären as well as the 5-star wellness hotel Huus Quell (Adults only, opening 2025).

Swiss PKU is dedicated to helping people with phenylketonuria (PKU) and inborn errors of metabolims treated with restricted protein intake. Swiss PKU (originally CHIP) was founded by committed parents in September 1988 and currently has more than 130 members.
